新疆生产建设兵团是实现新疆稳定和发展的重要战略力量,其发展壮大对于实现祖国统一、国家安全、民族团结、边疆长治久安具有十分重要的现实意义。以邓小平同志为主要代表的中国共产党人,高度重视兵团工作,在加强兵团正规化国营农场建设、组建兵团边境值班部队、恢复兵团体制等方面作出了诸多有益探索,进一步丰富拓展了兵团发展壮大的基本历史经验,为兵团战略地位的持续巩固、特殊作用的充分发挥奠定了坚实基础。

Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(XPCC)is an important strategic force to realize the stability and development of Xinjiang.Its development and growth are of great practical significance for realizing the reunification of the motherland,national security,ethnic unity and long-term peace and stability in the border areas.The Chinese Communists,with Comrade Deng Xiaoping as one of the chief representatives,attach great importance to the cause of XPCC,and have made many meaningful explorations in strengthening the construction of a regularized state farm,setting up border duty units,and restoring XPCC’s structure.All these have been enriching and broadening the basic historical experience of XPCC’s development and growth and have laid a solid foundation for the XPCC to consolidate its strategic position and give full play to its special role.
