新时代产业工人思想政治教育的理论来源是在社会历史长期的实践发展过程中形成的。马克思、恩格斯的无产阶级思想政治教育理论富含了工人阶级意识、道德、觉悟等方面的先进教育理念;列宁的灌输理论,将工人阶级作为主要的灌输对象,旨在向工人阶级传播科学社会主义思想;在中国革命和建设发展过程中,党和国家历代领导人高度重视在工人阶级中开展社会主义思想教育。党的十八大以来,习近平总书记对加强职工政治引领、组织职工建功立业作出重要指示,在新时代具有强大的感召力和说服力。这些思想是新时代开展产业工人思想政治教育的理论基础和行动指南,也是强化产业工人思想政治教育研究的根本前提。
