The Connection between Qing History and Modern Chinese History in Undergraduate Teaching

摘要 一、通史教学的特点和要求华东师范大学历来有重视本科教学的优良传统,历史学系更是如此。近些年来,我们本科教学的对象,有大约三成是师范生;另外七成,尤其是攻读硕士研究生的同学,他们的毕业去向也多半与中学教学相关。也就是说,我们本科教学的对象,有甚至更多,都会在将来从事中学历史的教学。这是一个非常重要的特点,它对我们本科教学的方向与目标,有着指引作用。 The course of General History of China plays a fundamental role in the undergraduate teaching of normal universities. On account of the long span of the teaching time,the course is assigned to teachers by their respective field in segments and thus creates "some gaps",especially between Qing history and modern Chinese history,which has a gap of several decades. In order to make up for this defect, we can increase the teaching time of the gap period, strengthen the reading of traditional historical materials,and add history of particular subjects in the general history course.
