摘要
奚密将文学史看作一个文化归化与适应、周期性陌生化与常态化的过程。她从诗的内指性和内部阐发性出发,将现代汉诗百年的发展历程纳入“陌生自然化”、“异常正常化”的循环当中,指出其现代性的获得实为不断以实验之召建构“新传统”的“自我更新”过程,阐明汉诗现代性的内生性。同时,她关注语言介质的传播和影响作用,将翻译视为一种遮蔽意义获得的可能性渠道,在“保留”与“失去”、“理解”和“误解”的重构之间揭橥汉诗在横的“移植”后进一步沟通与交流的新路径,此为汉诗现代性的移植性。汉诗现代性的二重性构成了奚密圆形诗学批评的纵横坐标,她纵向打破时空壁垒、横向沟通多元文化,建构起破除古今中西二元对立视野的诗学框架。
Michelle Yeh looks at the history of literature as a process of cultural domestication and adaption and cyclic defamiliarization and normalization.By starting from the inwardness and internal interpretation of poetry,she includes the developmental process of Chinese poetry over the last century in the cycle of strange naturalisation and abnormal normalization,pointing out that the acquisition of its modernity is a process of constructing a new tradition and self-renewal at the beck and call of experimentation,thus explicating the endogeneity of modern Chinese poetry.Meanwhile,she is concerned with the transmission and influence of the language media,treating translation as a possible channel of obtaining the concealed meaning,revealing a new path to communications after the transplantation crosswise in the reconstruction of retention and loss,and understanding and misunderstanding,which is the transplantedness of modernity of Chinese poetry.The duality of modernity of Chinese poetry forms the vertical and horizontal coordinates of Michelle Yeh’s circular criticism of poetics as she breaks through the barrier of time and space in communicating multiculturally crosswise and building a frame of poetics that has broken the vision of binary opposition between the ancient and the contemporary,and the Chinese and the Western.
