习近平总书记指出,历史和人民选择了中国共产党,为什么?因为中国共产党领导是中国特色社会主义最本质的特征,是中国特色社会主义制度的最大优势,是党和国家的根本所在、命脉所在,是全国各族人民的利益所系、命运所系。中国共产党的最本质特征就是决定中国特色社会主义事业兴衰成败的最根本、最关键的特征,任何一个领域工作的开展其根本和关键都在于坚持中国共产党领导;在中国特色社会主义制度这一严密完整的科学制度体系中,党的领导制度是我国的根本领导制度,起着决定性作用;无论是党的前途命运还是国家的前途命运,归根结底取决于中国共产党的全面领导;全国各族人民的美好生活能否实现,现实利益和长远利益能否实现,最根本的是要看能否坚持好党的全面领导。
