《水浒全传》藏译本是汉藏翻译领域一部具有里程碑意义的译著,在汉藏翻译史上有很大的影响。人物绰号作为《水浒全传》原著中颇具特点的元素,在《水浒全传》藏译本中得到了恰如其分的翻译,可以说是严复“信达雅”翻译原则在汉藏翻译工作中的一次优秀实践。结合该原则对译本进行解读,有助于汉藏翻译理论的进一步丰富。

The Tibetan version of Water Margin is a landmark translation in the Chinese-Tibetan trans-lation field and has a great influence in the history of Chinese-Tibetan translation.As a characteristicelement of the Water Margin,the nicknames of the characters are translated appropriately in the Tibetanversion of Water Margin,which can be said to be an excellent practice of Yan Fu's“Xin Da Ya”translation principle.The interpretation of the translation in the light of this principle will help furtherenrich the theory of Chinese-Tibetan translation.
