从历史和发展的角度看科普的概念和内涵

在中国,科普的内涵和外延随着时间的推移、时代的进步而不断发展,尤其在改革开放以来,我国与世界的交流融通越发广泛、深入、频繁和紧密,在科普领域也出现了公众理解科学、科学传播和公众参与科学等新提法和新理念。文章综述了科普在国内外的形成和发展过程,在科学传播与科普的争论中,作者建议中国科普在国际交流中应直接使用"Kepu"一词取代其它译文,并进一步在国家发展的总体布局下提出新时代科普内涵及科普外延拓展应体现的价值要求,以便我们更好地了解中国科普,实现科普的价值与功能拓展。

In China,the connotation and extension of science popularization are constantly developing with the passage of time and the progress of the times.Especially since the Reform and Opening up,the communication between China and the world has become more extensive,in-depth,frequent and close.In the field of science popularization,it also brings new ideas and concepts such as public understanding of science,science communication and public engagement with science.This paper summarizes the formation and development of popular science.In the debate between science communication and popular science,the author suggests that the word"Kepu"should be directly used to replace other translations in international exchanges,further put forward the value requirements of the connotation and extension of"Kepu"in the new era under the overall layout of national development,so that we can better understand"Kepu"and realize the value and function expansion of"Kepu".
