跨语际理论视域下新中式英语翻译——以“城市词典”为例

New Chinglish Translation from the Perspective of Translingualism:Taking UrbanDictionary. com as an Example

大量的网络用语已经深刻影响人们的日常生活和沟通交流方式,作为网络用语中的典型代表,新中式英语(New Chinglish)具有明显的跨语际特征,在网络空间中被赋予了新的功能,传播范围越来越广。从跨语际理论视角出发,以"城市词典"(UrbanDictionary.com)中音译合成词和转借表达法为分析对象,展开对新中式英语翻译方法的研究,分析跨语际特征在新中式英语中的生成及呈现。

A large number of cyber terms have profoundly influenced people’s life and communication mode. As a typical example of cyber language,New Chinglish has obvious characteristics of translingualism,which has been endowed with new functions in cyberspace. From the perspective of translingualism,this paper studies the translation methods of New Chinglish and analyzes the generation and presentation of translingual features in New Chinglish by analyzing compound words via transliteration and borrowing expressions from UrbanDictionary. com.
