铸牢中华民族共同体意识是新时代民族院校的使命和责任。北方民族大学将铸牢中华民族共同体意识作为落实立德树人根本任务的"纲"和"本",强化理论武装和实践探索,全面深入开展铸牢中华民族共同体意识工作,并使之与思政工作同向同行,结合红色文化教育和党史学习教育,积极营造校园文化氛围等实践路径,对加强中华文化认同、各民族交往交流交融及民族团结进步教育等具有重要的时代价值。

It is the mission and responsibility of ethnic universities in the new era to foster a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation. North Minzu University takes fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation as the outline and foundation of the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people,strengthen theoretical arming and research,comprehensively and deeply carry out the work of fostering the sense of the Chinese national community,make it go hand in hand with ideological and political work,combine red culture education and CPC’s history learning education,and actively create a campus cultural atmosphere,which has important contemporary value for strengthening Chinese cultural recognition,ethnic exchanges and ethnic unity and progress education.
