Mao Zedong’s Practical Philosophy Based on the Guidance of Actual Issues

毛泽东实践哲学不是纯粹抽象思辨的体系,而是分散在毛泽东社会实践活动和理论著作中关于如何认识和进行社会实践的智慧结晶,与抽象的"实践哲学"的区别在于,它坚持从实际出发,以现实问题导向为基础,思考和研究的是具体的"社会实践",但又不被其所束缚,不停留在感性经验层面上,而强调发展性、革命性和科学性,达到了哲学世界观和方法论的层次,但又不同于传统的形而上学,是马克思主义普遍真理与中国具体情况相统一,是解决社会实践问题的产物,具有强烈的现实性和价值性,能够产生改变现实的真正物质力量,不同于将实践限定为本体论范畴的学说体系。

Mao Zedong’s practical philosophy is not a system of pure abstract speculation,but a crystallization of wisdom on how to understand and carry out social practice scattered in Mao Zedong’s social practice activities and theoretical works.The difference from the abstract"practical philosophy"lies in that it adheres to starting from reality and based on the guidance of actual problems,thinking and studying specific"social practice".However,it is not bound by social practice and does not stay at the level of perceptual experience,but emphasizes development,revolution and scientificity.It has reached the level of philosophical world outlook and methodology,but it is different from traditional metaphysics.It is the product of the unification of Marxist universal truth with China’s specific conditions and the solution of social practice problems,which has strong reality and value.The real material force that can change reality is different from the theoretical system that limits practice to the category of ontology.From the perspective of On Protracted War,we can find that Mao Zedong’s practical philosophy is based on the guidance of actual problems,which is the key to the value and significance of On Protracted War in the contemporary era,and we can still use this as a reference for carrying out specific and great social practice activities in the new era.
