摘要
美国华裔青少年文学作品多出自第二、三代华裔作者之手。相比传统华美作品,他们笔下的中国形象在表征和功能方面发生了重大改变,这种改变表现在当代美国华裔青少年文学中中国书写的三个维度上。探讨华裔青少年文学作品如何展开中国想象,有助于品察本民族经验怎样在异域文化空间生根,并借以重新定义非西方文明在现代化发展和全球化进程中所发挥的历史作用。
Chinese American young adult literature is created mostly by the second,third-generation authors.The image of China in their works has seen a great change from the traditional Chinese American literature in terms of its representation and function,which showcases three dimensions in contemporary Chinese American young adult literature.Discussing its development of Chinese imagination is conducive to the scrutiny of how Chinese experience takes its root in a foreign culture and to the redefinition of the historical role the non-western cultures play in modernization and globalization.
