2000~2018年中国省际异质性研发资本存量测算

China's Inter-provincial Heterogeneous R&D Capital Stock Measurement from 2000 to 2018

在对折旧率等参数进行计算的基础上,就中国2000~2018年省际异质性研发资本存量进行的测算。结果表明:虽然中国研发资本存量呈现出稳定增长态势,但相较于物质资本存量和GDP,其规模还较小;就研发对经济增长的边际效应而言,东中部地区在基础研究方面存在比较优势,西部地区则在应用和试验发展方面表现突出;总体看,当前中国研发结构同美国差距明显;基础和应用研究的投入不足,无法为传统产业转型升级和新兴产业创新发展提供有力支撑。

Based on the calculation of the depreciation rate and other parameters,this paper calculates the inter-provincial heterogeneous R&D capital stock of China from 2000 to 2018.Results show that,although China's R&D capital stock has shown a steady growth,its scale is relatively small compared to physical capital and GDP.In terms of the marginal effect of R&D on economic growth,the eastern and central regions have comparative advantages in basic research,while the western region has outstanding performance in application and experimental development.In general,there is a significant gap between China's current R&D structure and the US.Insufficient investment in basic and applied research cannot provide effective technical support for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the innovation and development of emerging industries in China.
