摘要
改革开放以来,我国对外宣传事业发展迅速,外宣翻译活动日益增多。然而,在这个过程中出现的一些问题却不容忽视。“中国关键词”项目是我国对外宣传的重要组成部分,因此选择以“中国关键词”项目的英译为对象,尝试分析中英外宣翻译现象。通过案例分析,研究发现“中国关键词”项目的英译主要运用了三种翻译方法:直译、意译和音译加注释;同时还采用了五种翻译技巧:增译、减译、分译、合译和转换,目的是以易于理解和接受的方式向国际受众阐释与中国相关的理念和主张。
Since inaugurated reform and opening,there is rapid development of translation in China's global communication and increasingly demands of overseas-targeted publicity translationactivities.However,some problems shall not be ignored in the process of it.Since the items of Chinese Keywords are the important integral part in foreign publicity,it herein tries to make analysis on Chinese-English translation in foreign publicity with items of Chinese Keywords as the object.The case analysis demonstrated that the English translation of Chinese Keyword items applied mainly three methods:literal translation,free translation and transliteration with annotation.Meanwhile,five translation techniques are frequently use.i.e.amplification,omission,division,combination and conversion on the purpose of explain the concepts and propositions relating to China to international audience in the way of easy to understand and accept.
