在线直播课堂教师信息技术应用行为的个案研究

The Case Study on Teachers’Information Technology Application Behavior in Online Live Lessons

教师信息技术应用能力是新时代教师专业发展的重要能力。在线直播教学作为当前一种新的教学方式,对教师信息技术应用能力也提出了新的要求。为探究教师在这种新型教学方式下信息技术应用的行为特征及其所取得的教学效果,研究以一门基于ClassIn在线直播平台开展的英语课程为例,基于课程教学行为数据,采用探索性因子分析与K-Means++聚类方法,对案例课程教师信息技术应用行为特征及其应用模式进行了个案研究。研究发现,案例课程教师的信息技术应用行为主要体现在课堂纪律管理、学生作品展示、教学监测以及课程讲授与活动四个维度,同时该教师在直播教学的教、评、管方面展现了信息技术的创新性应用;案例课程教师在直播教学时除借助信息技术来传授教学内容外,还呈现出利用信息技术来增强教学效率、管理课堂纪律的特征,并在信息技术的应用行为上呈现出“纪律管理型”“效果监测型”“内容讲授型”三种不同的模式,学生课堂举手次数与作业提交率在不同教学模式下存在显著性差异。

Teachers’ability of using information and communication technology(ICT)is play an important role in teachers’professional development.As a new instructional approach,teaching live lessons online also puts forward new requirements for teachers in applying information technology.In this study,the behavioral patterns of teaching live lessons online in ClassIn platform were explored using exploratory factor analysis and K-Means++.The relationship between teaching patterns and the participation of learners was identified.The results showed that the log behaviors of teaching live lessons online were grouped into four categories:setting up the rules for studying online,presenting students’work;monitoring student learning,and delivering the class or facilitating activities.ICT was used for enhancing the effectiveness of teacher-learner interactions and keeping students engaged in online lessons.Three behavioral patterns-the engaging type,the monitoring type,and the instructional type-were identified using K-means.There were significant differences in students’participation across online lessons of the engaging type,the monitoring type and the instructional type.
