IL-37在类风湿关节炎中的作用研究进展

Advances in the Role of IL-37 in Rheumatoid Arthritis

类风湿关节炎(rheumatoid arthritis,RA)是一种以侵蚀性、对称性多关节炎为主要临床表现的慢性、全身性自身免疫性疾病。确切发病机制不明,基本病理改变为关节滑膜的慢性炎症、血管翳形成,并逐渐出现关节软骨和骨破坏,最终导致关节畸形和功能丧失。在RA发生发展过程中,细胞因子起到了重要作用。近年来针对细胞因子参与自身免疫病的研究发现,作为白细胞介素-1(interleukin-1,IL-1)家族的新成员,IL-37可通过胞内和胞外两种途径发挥免疫抑制效应从而发挥其抗炎作用。且研究表明,IL-37在健康人群体内的表达水平极低,在RA患者体内则过表达。本研究就IL-37的结构、功能、抗炎机制及其在RA中的作用机制进行综述,为IL-37及RA的后续研究提供思路与参考。

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic,systemic autoimmune disease with erosive,symmetrical polyarthritis as the main clinical manifestation.The exact pathogenesis is unknown,the basic pathological changes are chronic inflammation of synovium and formation of pannus,and the articular cartilage and bone destruction,eventually leading to joint deformity and loss of function.During the course of RA,cytokines play an important role.Recent studies on cytokine involvement in autoimmune diseases have found that,as a new members of interleukin-1(IL-1)family,IL-37 can exert its anti-inflammatory effect by both intracellular and extracellular pathways.And studies show,IL-37 expression levels in healthy people are extremely low,overexpression in RA patients.This study review the structure,function,anti-inflammatory mechanism and action mechanism of IL-37 in RA,so as to provide ideas and references for the follow-up research of IL-37 and RA.
