The civil code is the important achievements of legislation of the People's Republic of China,which will play a vital role in improving the socialist rule of law system with Chinese characteristics and promoting the construction of a socialist country ruled by law.The central government calls for a deep understanding of the great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance of the civil code,extensive and in-depth study and publicity of it and overall effective promotion of the implementation of it.Departments at all levels should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new Era.Focusing on the important responsibility of promoting the early realization of the general goal of comprehensively ruling the country according to law,combined with the important requirements of accelerating the process of building China under the rule of law,we should highlight and deeply recognize the historical context of compiling the civil code,fully understand the great significance of its promulgation,promote and improve the guarantee mechanism for its implementation,so that a solid foundation,stable expectations and long-term benefits could be insured.
