The introduction of English picture book reading teaching in primary school English teaching can not only im‐prove the teaching quality of teachers,but also strengthen students'mastery and understanding of English knowledge points,and promote the gradual improvement of students'observation ability and thinking style.The article analyzes the role of Eng‐lish picture book reading in primary school students’English learning,further emphasizes the important significance of prima‐ry school English picture book reading teaching,and proposes corresponding strategies,hoping to better promote the improve‐ment of English teaching quality.
