董事会断裂带对商业银行风险承担的影响研究——环境动态性的调节作用

Impact of faultline of board of directors on risk-taking of commercial bank——Moderating effect of environmental dynamics

以中国2011-2018年15家商业银行董事会作为研究对象,基于群体断裂带理论和社会认同理论,对董事会断裂带强度与商业银行的风险承担关系进行实证考察,并引入环境动态性作为调节变量。研究结果发现:董事会断裂带强度对商业银行风险承担产生正向影响;环境动态性在董事会断裂带与商业银行风险承担关系中发挥显著的正向调节作用。以上结论为优化商业银行董事会构成提供有益参考。

This paper makes a case study of the board of directors of 15 commercial banks in China from 2010 to 2018.It makes an empirical study of the relationship between the strength of faultline of the board of directors and the risk-taking of commercial banks based on the theories of group faultline and social identification,and introduces environmental dynamics as a moderating variable.The findings show that the strength of faultline of the board of directors has a positive impact on the risk-taking of commercial banks,and environmental dynamics has a significantly positive mode-rating effect in the relationship between faultline of the board of directors and the risk-taking of commercial banks.The above conclusions provide useful references for optimizing the composition of the board of directors of commercial banks.
