The reading ability scale provides a unified and objective standard for reading teaching,which is conducive to teachers’effective implementation of teaching activities.This paper mainly discusses how to construct teaching objectives through teacher-student cooperation based on the reading ability scale,and how to design practical teaching activities,choose suitable teaching methods,and provide accurate teaching evaluation guided by the objectives.It is expected that in higher vocational reading teaching,the teacher-student co-constructed teaching objectives and self-assessment can help teaching efficiently.
