A Review of Dialect Partition of Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties

魏晋南北朝方言地域性强,后人多采用地域分类法划分方言区域。郭注语料丰富,地域分布广,先后有七位学者以此作了整体分区,朱芳圃八区、周振鹤和游汝杰七区、沈榕秋九区、董达武十二区、萧黎明七区、李恕豪九区、华学诚六区等。各家分区差异性和一致性显著,可以最大公约数的方式整合方言区的通行范围。这一时期作者较多,方言语料庞杂,学者们多以中心地区和通行范围指称局部的方言区域,构成了一个相对独立的整体。魏晋南北朝方言区域的划分因分区标准而异,无本质性差别。

The dialect of Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties is strongly regional.So scholars use regional classification to classify dialect regions.The corpus of Guo Pu's works is rich with wide geographical distribution.Successively,seven scholars have made an overall division:Zhu Fangpu dialect area 8,Zhou Zhenhe and You Rujie 7,Shen Rongqiu 9,Dong Dawu 12,Xiao Liming 7,Li Shuhao 9,and Hua Xuecheng 6.The difference and consistency of each partition are significant,and the adoption range of dialect areas can be integrated by means of the largest common divisor.There were many authors in this period and the corpus of dialects was vast and complex.Scholars refer to specific dialect regions area by using the central area and the current scope,constituting a relatively independent dialect as a whole.The difference of dialect division in Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties is different because of the standard of division with no essential distinction.
