性别差异对间充质干细胞生物学特性的影响

Effects of gender differences on biological characteristics of mesenchymal stem cells

间充质干细胞(MSCs)是一种具有组织再生和免疫调节功能的干细胞,在再生医学领域和一些世界性疑难杂症的临床治疗中受到广泛关注。不同组织和性别来源的MSCs存在差异性,生物学特性表现也大不相同。本文总结了性别差异对MSCs生物学特性的影响,分别论述了不同性别来源的MSCs在表面抗原、增殖、分化、免疫抑制和免疫调节功能以及大量研究中发现的不同性别MSCs在疾病治疗效果上存在的差异,进一步分析了MSCs所表现差异性的内因与不同性别MSCs基因表达水平的差异之间存在的相关性,对将来MSCs在相关疾病的临床应用具有一定的参考价值。

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)is a hot topic in regenerative medicine and clinical treatment field due to their regeneration properties and immunomodulatory functions.MSCs have different biological characteristics by different tissues and gender sources.We summarized and discussed the differences in MSCs biological characteristics from different gender sources,such as surface antigens,proliferation,differentiation,immunosuppression and immune regulation function,and the significant differences showed in MSCs treatments from different gender in recent studies.Furthermore,we summarized the intrinsic factors caused by the MSCs functions,and the correlation in gene expression level from different genders of MSCs.And all of above information may support in the MSCs clinical application.
