摘要
从当前TEM4、TEM8等英语考试的结果以及高校英语专业阅读教学现状中可以看出目前英语专业阅读教学的效果不尽如人意。大量国内外研究表明场独立和场依存认知风格与英语阅读有着紧密联系,对英语阅读教学也有着一定的指导作用。因此,从外语学习者的场独立、场依存认知风格的差异入手,结合《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》的要求,为英语专业阅读教学提出有效的、可行的教学策略,以便教师在英语专业阅读教学中能够充分发挥这两种认知风格的学生的优势,进而有针对性地、有效地提升英语专业学生的英语阅读能力、提高英语专业阅读教学质量。
From the results of TEM4 and TEM8 and the current situation of college English teaching for English majors,it can be seen that the effect of Reading Course for English majors is always unsatisfactory.A lot of studies at home and abroad show that field independence and field dependence are closely related to English reading and have some implications on English reading teaching.The article aims to put forward effective and feasible teaching strategies for reading teaching for English majors from the perspective of cognitive styles of field independence and field dependence of foreign language learners,combining with the requirements of the syllabus for English majors in Colleges and universities,so as to give full play to the advantages of the two cognitive styles in English majors’reading teaching,and effectively improve the English majors’reading ability and the quality of reading teaching for English majors.
