压抑中的孤独,沉默中的抵抗——《山姥的微笑》女性形象研究

Loneliness in Depression,Resistance in Silence——A Study of the Female Image in The Smile of a Mountain Basking

大庭美奈子于1976年发表了短篇小说《山姥的微笑》。小说的主人公山姥,虽然取材于日本民间的妖怪传说,但与传说中"栖息在山中的老女"有所不同,大庭美奈子笔下的山姥是生活在现代都市的女子,并具有"读心术",富于抵抗精神。本文采取女性主义文学批评的相关理论,首先对山姥在民间传说中的形象加以提取;其次,分析小说中,生活在人类社会的山姥,在性别、社会等多重压抑下所产生的孤独;最后,对山姥从选择沉默反抗,到以自杀这一极端的方式抵抗孤独展开文学阐释。

In 1976,Oba Minako published the short story The Smile of a Mountain Basking.Although the protagonist of the novel,Mountain Basking,is based on folklore about monsters in Japan,it is different from the legend of the old woman living in the mountains.The Mountain Basking described by Oba Minako is a woman living in a modern city.She has"mind reading"skill and is full of resistance spirit.This paper will adopt the related theories of feminist literary criticism,firstly extract the image of Mountain Basking in folklore;secondly,analyze the loneliness of Mountain Basking who lives in human society in the novel under multiple repressions such as gender and society;finally,this paper also tries to make a literary interpretation of Mountain Basking’s choice from resisting silently to resisting loneliness in the extreme way of suicide.
