We performed the borehole sidetrack operation with PD X5 rotary directional tool in well of west of South China Sea safety and efficiency.This essay summarizes and discusses the technical method of borehole sidetrack with PD X5 rotary directional tool from sidetrack point choice,optimization of bottom hole assembly,and sidetrack operation,which will provide the reference for sidetrack drilling with rotary directional tool similar as this well.
