Deng Xiaoping’s Historic Contribution to the Road of National Governance with Chinese Characteristics

新中国成立以后特别是改革开放以来,党带领人民经过不懈努力走出了一条具有鲜明中国特色的国家治理道路。作为中国社会主义改革开放和现代化建设的总设计师,邓小平确立了探索中国特色国家治理道路的方法论原则,奠定了坚持中国特色国家治理道路的本土化模式,提出了推进中国特色国家治理现代化的重大要求,推动了重塑中国特色国家治理体系的探索性改革,为中国特色国家治理道路的形成和发展作出了历史性贡献。

Since the establishment of People’s Republic of China, especially after the reform and opening-up, the Chinese Communist Party has led the people into forging a path of national governance with Chinese characteristics through unremitting efforts. As the chief designer of reform and opening-up as well as the socialist modernization, Deng Xiaoping has established the methodological principles for exploring the path of national governance with Chinese characteristics, which has laid the localized model of the path of national governance with Chinese characteristics, and put forward major requirements for advancing the modernization of national governance with Chinese characteristics.
