摘要
以往关于陈烟桥的研究多集中探讨鲁迅对陈烟桥的影响或陈烟桥版画的艺术特色,较少涉及陈烟桥早期的社会活动及漫画和理论创作,也未关注他不同时期的创作核心。本文将陈烟桥早期的社会活动和木刻、漫画、理论创作视为一个整体,发掘被以往研究遗漏的细节与作品,试图呈现陈烟桥在20世纪三四十年代的社会活动和艺术创作,并标示其创作转变的节点,进而指出,在充满动荡与灾难的20世纪三四十年代,他以刻刀和画笔为武器,通过视觉图像宣传革命、唤醒民众、激励士气生动诠释了民族救亡与人民解放的革命历程。
Previous studies on Chen Yanqiao mostly focused on Lu Xun's influence on Chen or the artistic characteristics of Chens woodcuts,but less on Chens early social activities,cartoons and theoretical creation,and did not pay attention to the core of his creation in different periods.This paper considers Chen Yanqiao's early social activities,woodcuts,cartoons and theoretical creations as a whole,excavates details and works that have been missed by previous studies,and attempts to present Chens social activities and artistic creations in the 1930s and 1940s and indicate the points of his creative transformation.It then points out that in the turbulent 1930s and 1940s,he vividly interpreted the revolutionary process of national salvation and peoples liberation through visual images,propagating the revolution,rousing the people and inspiring the morale of the people with knives and brushes as weapons.
