This article begins with introduction of the process and features for stud welding technology,which was applied in manufacturing of discharge electrode and proved to be reliable by sample experiments.This technology was applied in automated manufacturing of discharge electrode and thus improved the quality level of manufacture.The application of stud welding can be an important way to upgrade intelligent manufacturing level of electrostatic precipitator environmental equipment.
