Vision and Implementation Path of Sustainable Development of 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games

近年来,“可持续性”成为各国举办奥林匹克运动会的重要内容。2020东京奥运会与残奥会提出了“为了地球与人类,共创美好未来”的可持续发展理念,从气候变化、资源管理、自然环境·生物多样性、人权·劳工·公平的商业规范、参与·合作·沟通等五大方面制定了目标和实施策略,并在构筑“零碳社会”、实现“资源零浪费”等方面取得了显著的成就。日本希望通过举办2020东京奥运会,创建一个引领世界可持续发展的新模式,并将该模式展现于世界各国,彰显国力,为实现联合国提出的可持续发展目标作贡献。

In recent years,"sustainability"has become an important topic for countries to host the Olympic Games.The 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games put forward the concept of sustainable development of"creating a better future for the earth and mankind",and formulated goals and implementation strategies from five aspects:climate change,resource management,natural environment,biodiversity,human rights,labor,fair business norms,participation,cooperation and communication.They are building a"zero carbon society"and realizing"zero waste of resources"and made remarkable achievements.By hosting the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games,Japan hopes to create a new model leading the world's sustainable development,show this model to all countries in the world,highlight its national strength and contribute to the realization of the sustainable development goals put forward by the United Nations.
