The Phonetic and Pragmatic Analysis of Real Estate Names in Harbin Downtown and Suburban Areas

楼盘名称作为符号是城市内在文化的载体。本文通过对哈尔滨楼盘名称进行音节数、修辞手法以及通名的比较,研究哈尔滨市中心与郊区楼盘名称的特点及其承载的文化内涵。研究发现郊区的楼盘名音节数与修辞手法的种类多于中心区楼盘,呈现多样化的趋势。郊区楼盘因坐落于城市周边,自然风景与优雅的环境为主要吸引力。其命名更加注重山、水等自然事物。而市中心的楼盘命通常呈现出繁荣富贵的特点,这一特性与其地理位置和楼盘价格关系紧密。通过对楼盘名称的研究分析区域发展差异和文化变迁,探寻名称背后的语用内涵。

The real estate name as a symbol embodies the culture of a city.This paper analyzes features of real estate names in Harbin downtown and suburban areas from the perspectives of syllables,rhetorical devices and common names.We find that the number of syllables and rhetoric devices of suburban real estate names is more than that of downtown,showing a trend of diversification.As suburban real estates are located in the periphery of the city,the natural scenery and elegant environment become its main attraction.Suburban real estate names emphasize beautiful scenery with mountains and water,while downtown real estate names possess features of prosperity and wealth due to its geographical location and real estate prices.By analyzing real estate names,this paper explores the regional development differences and cultural changes in the suburban and downtown areas of Harbin.
