Due to the new requirements for higher vocational talents in the new era,English teaching in higher vocational colleges should also ride on the trend of the times and seize opportunities.To cultivate high-qualified talents,English teaching,therefore,needs to integrate instrumentality with humanism in terms of modules,content,strategies,methods and evaluation on the student-oriented basis and in a manner appropriate to local conditions.
