摘要
认知语言学对学习语言有着极强的针对性与实用性,尤其是范畴理论、隐喻系统。范畴理论运用到英语词汇的学习当中,强调不同词汇之间经过人的有意识归纳整理,存在必然的因果联系和种类相似性,即词汇与词汇、词汇与语境、词汇与文章大意、词汇与表达意图之间存在着关系。此外,认知语言学认为任何语言都存在隐喻。教师如果运用好概念隐喻,就能够更加深入地增进学生对于英语词汇学习的深刻记忆,并且形成长效的思维模式。
Cognitive linguistics,especially category theory and metaphorical system,is of great relevance and practicability in language learning.When category theory is applied to English vocabulary learning,it emphasizes that there are certain causal connections and type similarities between different words after human s conscious induction and arrangement,that is,there are relations between words,words and context,words and the general idea of articles,words and the intention of expressions.In addition,cognitive linguistics holds that metaphors exist in any language.If teachers make good use of conceptual metaphor,they can further enhance students deep memory of English vocabulary learning and form a long-term thinking mode.
