Strategic emerging industries represent the development direction of global science,technology and industry,and play a significant role in promoting the long-term development of economy and society.The participation of state-owned enterprises in the development of strategic emerging industries not only helps the country and region to optimize the economic structure and improve the quality of economic development,but also helps to promote the forward-looking strategic industrial concentration of state-owned capital.Xi an high tech zone is a fertile ground for entrepreneurship with the convergence of industrial clusters,prosperous innovation and entrepreneurship,active emerging businesses and top-level talents.How to better realize the diversification and leap-forward development of state-owned enterprises in the region through M&A is an urgent problem to be faced at present.Starting from the necessity of the development of strategic emerging industries,through the method of SWOT analysis,this paper focuses on combing the advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges faced by Xi an high tech zone in industrial development,and can clearly plan the main M&A modes and strategies for the development of strategic emerging industries in combination with the enterprise development trend and law under the new situation,which can provide useful ideas for state-owned enterprises in the region to better participate in M&A.
