Religious Philosophy Association of St.Petersburg came into being under the macro background of thinking about the future and destiny of the country,holding the premise of general dissatisfaction with the role of the church in social life and various nihilistic cultural trends prevailing in the society at that time.Through the ideological collision and exchange with contemporary intellectuals,they not only clarified their own thoughts and theoretical system,but also their ideological exchange and spiritual direction widely spreading in the society with the help of magazines,newspapers and other cultural carriers.This not only promoted the emergence of spiritual and cultural revival in the silver age,but also linked Marxism cultural trends such as liberalism and conservatism.It stirred the nerves of Russian society at the level of social reality,and then had a profound historical impact on the history of Russian culture.
