Commenting on Drama for 40 Years along with Telling the Truth——An Interview with Yang Jianguo,a Famous Hui Drama Critic and Playwright in Ningxia

杨建国是宁夏著名的回族戏剧评论家、剧作家。他从事戏剧研究四十余年,对于戏剧创作,不但有过比较深入的探讨而且还有许多独到的见解。他一贯只说真话,尤其是谈不足能点准穴位,在戏剧界有口皆碑。近年来,他在多次讲座中曾指出:剧本创作之前是源于生活,剧本结构之时是高于生活,有了这两个前提,在剧本写作之时,其实就是干好一件事情,即入于生活。他强调,剧本创作的关键在结构,同样也有两个前提,即当戏核与主干线确立之后,就要把注意力集中在主人公所面临的若干次转折与抉择上。他还提出了剧本创作“三个世界”的主张,即主人公的现实世界、心理世界与梦幻世界。写作时,将三个世界相交织,构成一个有机的三位一体。杨建国先生的这些独到见解,对于剧本创作既具有一定的指导意义,又有很实在的参考价值。

Yang Jianguo is a well-known Hui drama critic and playwright.He has been engaged in drama research for more than 40 years,and not only has an in-depth study on drama creation,but also has many unique opinions.Over the past 40 years,he has participated in hundreds of drama seminars in Ningxia,Taiyuan,Shanxi Province and Lanzhou,Gansu Province,and commented on hundreds of plays.He is well known for always telling the truth in the dramatic world,and especially for pointing out the shortcomings.In recent years,he has pointed out in many lectures that script comes from life before writing,and script structure is more important than life.With these two premises,script writing is actually doing one thing well,that is,getting into life.He emphasized that the key to script writing is the structure of script,and there are also two premises,that is,when the core and main line of the play are established,we should focus on the several times of turning points and choices faced by the protagonist.He also put forward that the proposition of three worlds in script creation,namely:the real world,the psychological world and the dream world of the protagonist.During script writing,the three worlds are interwoven into a trinity.Yang Jianguo's unique insights not only have certain guiding significance for the script creation,but also have very practical reference value.
