Peer education is an innovative way of education,following the direction of Ideological and political education reform,strengthening the theoretical subjectivity of Ideological and political education,and enhancing the effectiveness of Ideological and political education for college students.Through the interpretation of the connotation and characteristics of peer education,this paper expounds the importance of peer education to college students’Ideological and political education,sums up the five aspects of peer education on College Students’Ideological and political education,and gives concrete suggestions on how to further develop peer education in the practice of College Students’ideological and political education.
