摘要
车牌识别技术是智能交通的重要组成部分,是一种利用车牌对车辆进行识别的图像处理技术。本文结合实际情况,分析车牌识别技术的研究难点,论述常用的研究方法,分析车牌识别算法的研究成果及其局限性。通过回顾近几年国内外的相关文献,重点关注近年来不同的车牌检测与识别算法,讨论研究算法的优缺点,并对未来发展趋势进行展望。
License plate recognition technology is an important part of intelligent transportation. It is a kind of image processing technology that uses license plate to identify vehicles. Based on the actual situation,this paper analyzes the research difficulties of license plate recognition technology,discusses the common research methods,and analyzes the research results and limitations of license plate recognition algorithm. By reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years,focusing on the different license plate detection and recognition algorithms in recent years,the advantages and disadvantages of the research algorithms are discussed,and the future development trend is prospected.
