Enlightenments and Gains from a Lesson of Physical Experiment

"弗兰克-赫兹"实验是大学物理实验课程中的一个经典实验项目。从学生的视角,介绍了一次实验课的几个花絮——听玻尔和弗兰克的历史故事、读纪伯伦的诗"我的心曾经悲伤过七次"以及医学伦理经典"希波克拉提斯誓言"。通过物理实验课的学习,在获取知识、提高能力的同时,不仅感悟了玻尔的爱国情怀、弗兰克和赫兹的科学精神、纪伯伦的人生哲理与智慧之光、希波克拉提斯的大爱之情,而且还激发了对教育目标的思考。

Franck-Hertz experiment is a classical item in the course of college physical experiment. From the perspective of students, several episodes during a lesson of Franck-Hertz experiment were introduced in this paper, including listening to the historical story of Bohr and Franck, savoring the poem of "Seven times I have despised my soul" written by Kahlil Gibran, and reading medical ethics of "Hippocrates’ Oath". Through this lesson, besides acquiring knowledge, we have not only understood Bohr’s Patriotism, Franck and Hertz’s scientific spirit, Kahlil Gibran’s philosophy and wisdom of life, Hippocratic love, but also been inspired to think about the goal of education. Stories of this lesson will become lights of the life.
