Study on the All-Round Development of Chinese Ethnic Minority Women in the New Era

习近平总书记关于民族团结和妇女发展的重要论述存在五个方面的一致性,即都以马克思主义为指导、秉承党的历代领导人的思想精髓、以“中国梦”为引领、强调平等的重要性、看重“发展”的重要作用。与其他第三世界国家相比,中国少数民族女性追求全面发展具有稳定的政策环境、良好的经济环境、重要的组织保障、积极的社会环境、重视家庭的传统价值观,但也面临少数民族地区发展相对落后、观念陈旧、自身能力不足、权益享受不充分、现代性冲击传统文化等方面的挑战。新时代促进少数民族女性全面发展,应按照习近平总书记重要论述从四个方面着力,即推动少数民族女性全面发展和经济社会发展同步,积极保障少数民族女性权益,努力构建和谐包容的社会文化,创造有利于少数民族女性发展的国际环境。

General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on ethnic unity and women’s development are consistent in five aspects,namely,guided by Marxism,adhering to the ideological essence of successive leaders of the CCP,guided by the“Chinese Dream”,emphasizing the importance of“equality”and valuing the important role of“development”.Compared with other third world countries,the pursuit of all-round development of ethnic minority women in China has a stable policy environment,a good economic environment,an important organizational guarantee,a positive social environment,and a family-oriented ttraditional value.However,ethnic minority women in China also face challenges as the backward development in ethnic minority areas,outdated concepts,insufficient capacity,inadequate enjoyment of rights and interests,and the impact of modernity on traditional culture.In order to promote the comprehensive development of ethnic minority women in the new era,it should be focused on the following four aspects according to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important ddiscourse:promoting the synchronous development of ethnic minority women and the economy and society,actively protecting the rights and interests of ethnic minority women,striving to build a harmonious and inclusive social culture,and creating an international environment conducive to the development of ethnic minority women.
