The compilation of The Chinese Yellow River Culture Canon is an important measure taken by the Party Leadership group of the Ministry of Water Resources to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches on ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin,and a major cultural publishing project to sort out the context of water control in the Yellow River Basin and serve contemporary water conservancy practices.Through the in-depth sorting of well-known works,classical historical materials and engineering files,the project extracts and displays the cultural essence of Chinese excellent traditional culture with contemporary value and world significance,which is of great significance to the continuation of historical context,the promotion of water control civilization and the strengthening of cultural confidence.
