习近平生态文明思想是对马克思主义生态观的创造性继承和发展,是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的重要组成部分。福建是习近平生态文明思想重要的孕育地和发源地。习近平在福建工作的17年半中,福建走出了一条经济发展与生态文明建设相互促进、人与自然和谐共生的绿色发展新路,为全国生态文明建设探索出一批可复制、可推广的典型经验,使得福建在推进生态文明治理体系和治理能力现代化上走在全国前列。

Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization is the creative inheritance and development of the ecological view of Marxism,concerning the epistemology,methodology and practice theory of“what the ecological civilization should be,why we should build an ecological civilization and how to build an ecological civilization”.It contributes Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to creating a new form of human civilization for the modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature and is a significant constituent part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.Fujian is an important breeding ground and headstream for Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization.During the seventeen and a half years Xi worked in Fujian,the province embarked on a new path of green development in which economic development and ecological progress reinforce each other and man and nature coexist in harmony.It has obtained a number of typical experiences that can be replicated and extended for ecological progress across the country.
