总结了国内外现行的医院图书馆管理标准,介绍了国内第一个医院图书馆地方标准——吉林省《医院图书馆管理规范》的制定,着重从人员要求、馆舍设置、馆藏建设和读者服务方面制定其管理标准,以平衡不同等级医院、不同地区医院图书馆间的差异,旨在提高吉林省医院图书馆的管理水平,为医院医疗、教学、科研和管理提供高质量的知识服务。该标准的颁布与实施,为日后制定医院图书馆管理全国标准和行业标准提供参考。
