鲁迅与木刻讲习会里的客籍青年及艺术光影

Lu Xun and the Hakka Youth and Artistic Splendor at the Woodcut Workshop

为了推动中国新兴木刻运动的发展,1931年鲁迅在"左联"和"美联"的支持下举办了一次木刻讲习会,在十三位学员中有五位是来自兴宁的客籍青年,即陈广、陈铁耕、黄山定、钟步清、邓起帆。他们不仅因此成为中国新兴木刻运动的先驱者,还将新兴木刻传播到了广东等地,并与其他木刻家一起开辟了木刻版画的新道路和新格局。他们的木刻作品表现出了革命的艺术精神和"借镜之助"的鲜明特点,进而令实绩并不突出的新兴木刻在现代美术领域留下了自己的历史光影。

In order to promote the development of China’s emerging woodcut movement, Lu Xun held a woodcut workshop in 1931 with the support of the "Left Wing Writers’ Union of China" and the "Left wing Artists’ Union of China". Among the 13 students, five were from Xingning, namely Chen Guang, Chen Tiegeng, Huang Shan Ding, Zhong Buqing and Deng Qifan.They not only became pioneers of the new woodcut movement in China, but also promoted the new woodcut to Guangdong and other places, and opened up new paths and new patterns of woodcut prints together with other woodcutters. Their woodcut works show revolutionary artistic spirit and the distinctive characteristics of "help from the mirror", thus making the new woodcut which is not outstanding in the field of modern art show a magical historical luster.
