明清府县佐贰官研究述评

“Zuo Er”Vice Prefecture or County Governors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties:A General Review

明清府县佐贰官的研究资料相对分散。尽管目前的研究成果,在研究视角、内容、方法层面各有侧重,但总体来看,多集中在地方行政体制的研究和职权的分析,缺乏系统阐释和综合性研究。从政治制度史的角度看,佐贰官分担主官的部分职权,在地方治理体系中同样发挥重要作用。为了对这一主题进行丰富和完善,本研究主要就佐贰官的职官定位、职权范围、职责演变和社会效果等进行多维度的考察和展望。

The studies on the“Zuo Er”vice prefecture or county governors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties are roughly not so concentrated on specific topics.Most of the researches emphasize angles,contents and methods,and a non-systematic or non-comprehensive analysis of local administrative systems and responsibilities.This paper argues that“Zuo Er”officials assisted the chief officials in administration from the perspective of political institution history and hence played an important role in local governance.Seen in this way,“Zuo Er”officials are worth studying multi-dimension in terms of their status,responsibilities,duty assignment evolution and social effects.
