东汉豪族层级探究--以《后汉书》记载为例

A Study on the Hierarchy of Powerful Clans in the Eastern Han Dynasty--Taking Records in The Book of the Later Han as An Example

东汉时期,豪族逐渐发展成熟不断与王权相结合,成为管理社会不可或缺的力量,但由于豪族与王权结合程度不同,使豪族内部出现了明显的分化,形成了“中央豪族”“郡县豪族”“乡里豪族”三个不同的豪族层级。三个层级的豪族对不同层次的社会产生的影响是不同的,但最终的结果都是加强了东汉王权对社会的控制。

In the Eastern Han dynasty,the powerful clans got gradually matured and went closer to the royal power,becoming an indispensable force in the management of the society.However,due to the diff erence in the combination between the powerful clans and the royal power,there appeared obvious diff erentiation within the powerful clans,forming three diff erent levels of the powerful clans:“central powerful clans”,“county powerful clans”and“village powerful clans”,and thus exerting diff erent infl uences on the society;however,the fi nal result is to strengthen the royalty’s control on the society in the eastern Han dynasty.
