Editor's Highlight Molecular Plant snRNA-seq to bulk RNA-seq from whole roots and protoplast suspensions,and captured additional cell subtypes using snRNA-seq that were missed in other published single-cell RNA-seq(scRNA-seq)studies.Both de novo clustering of nuclei based on chromatin accessibility and integration of snATAC-seq with snRNA-seq produced similar clusters,suggesting that the complex Arabidopsis root cellular identities can be revealed by single-nuclei chromatin accessibility profiles(Farmer et al.t 2021).
