Research Progress on Roles of Sirtuins Family in Mechanisms of Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Sirtuins家族属于Ⅲ类组蛋白去乙酰化酶,具有高度保守的催化结构域。近年来研究发现,其在感音神经性聋的病理机制中扮演着重要的角色。本文回顾总结Sirtuins家族的生物学功能和其在感音神经性聋中的作用,有利于进一步探寻其具体作用靶点,为其在感音神经性聋发病机制中的作用研究提供有益参考。

The Sirtuins family belongs to class Ⅲ histone deacetylases with highly conserved catalytic domains.In recent years, it has been found that it plays an important role in the pathogenesis of sensorineural hearing loss. This review summarizes biological functions of the Sirtuins family and its role in sensorineural hearing loss to help further identify specific targets of the Sirtuins family, and provide a useful guidance for future studies on its roles in the pathogenesis of sensorineural hearing loss.
