He is an artist,skilled in meticulous painting with lifelike work.Meanwhile,he is also a teacher,rigorous in academic research and tireless in teaching.His name is Wu Lei who is a professor of School of Fine Arts in Shandong Normal University,doctor tutor,deputy director of China Zhi Gong Party primary committee in SNU,member of the 12th CPPCC of Shandong Provincial Committee,member of the 14th CPPCC of Jinan Municipal Committee,member of Chinese Artists Association,member of the presidium of Shandong Artists Association,honorary chairman of Shandong Young Artists Association,deputy secretary general of Shandong Chinese Painting Association,director of Chinese Heavy-colored Painting Association,member of Chinese Meticulous Painting Association,deputy president of Shandong Zhi Gong Calligraphy and Painting Academy and deputy president of CPPCC Jinan Municipal Committee Calligraphy and Painting Academy.Though having multiple identities,Wu Lei perfectly combines his elaboration in meticulous painting with his earnestness in teaching,showing an excellent spirit of an artist as well as a teacher.
