The Issues of Global Modernity and the Reconstruction of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind

全球现代性是这个时代最为本质的特征,其在显示巨大威力的同时,也因全球金融危机、政治动荡、文明冲突、生态瓶颈等等,愈发使我们感受到发展的矛盾与界限。面对全球现代性的资本主义方案带来的人类命运分化,思想家们持三种不同态度对其加以审思,即全球现代性的"自我修复论""外在断裂论"与"内在扬弃论"。"自我修复论"与"外在断裂论"将全球现代性当作封闭的僵化体加以对待,认为其或是到达极致,或是走向尽头。马克思的"内在扬弃论"则看到全球现代性的自我超越潜能,提出扬弃全球现代性的资本主义方案,走向以"自由人联合体"为目标的新全球现代性。人类命运共同体一方面继承了"内在扬弃论"的立场与方法,以"自由人联合体"为目标旨向,另一方面又在新的历史条件下从目标内容、思维方式、实践策略等维度进行了创造性转化,从而使其兼具科学性、价值性、现实性与创新性,为全球现代性发展贡献了中国智慧与中国方案。

Global modernity is the most essential feature of this era.While it shows great power,it also makes us more and more aware of the contradictions and boundaries of development,owing to the global financial crisis,political turmoil,conflicts of civilizations,and ecological bottlenecks.Faced with the differentiation of human destiny brought about by the capitalist scheme of global modernity,thinkers examine and consider it with three different attitudes:the"self-repair theory",the"external fracture theory"and the"internal sublation theory"of global modernity.The"self-healing theory"and the"external rupture theory"treat global modernity as a closed ossified body,and consider it either to reach the extreme or to come to an end.Marx’s"internal sublation theory"sees the the self-transcendence potential of global modernity,and proposes to sublate the capitalist scheme of global modernity,and moves towards a new global modernity with the goal of"community of free individuals".For one thing,the community with a shared future for mankind inherits the position and method of"internal sublation",with the goal of"community of free individuals";for another,under the new historical conditions,it also creatively transforms from the dimensions of target content,thinking mode and the practice strategy,which makes it both scientific,valuable,realistic and innovative,contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the development of global modernity.
