摘要
我们报道了一种基于掺钕硅酸盐玻璃的芯径为40μm的单模多沟道光纤。在多沟道光纤的设计中同时利用了微结构光纤的离域效应和泄漏特性,采用管棒法设计并制备了硅酸盐多沟道光纤。利用10厘米长的单模多沟道光纤获得了最大输出功率~8.4瓦,斜率效率为54%的激光输出。
We report a compact single-mode multi-trench fiber(MTF)with 40μm core diameter and 10 cm in length based on the Nd-doped silicate glass.Both delocalization effect and the leaky nature were considered together to design the MTF.The fiber was fabricated by using the rod-in-tube method according to the design.A maximum laser output power of~8.4 W with a slope efficiency of 54%was obtained from a 10 cm long singlemode MTF.
