谢六逸是我国现代文学家、新闻学家,被誉为“中国新闻教育事业的开创者之一”。抗战时期,他身处国难之危,肩负救亡之任,积极利用报刊大力开展抗战救国宣传,传播抗战救国思想,播撒抗战救国种子,进行抗战救国动员,激发了读者抗战救国的勇气,鼓舞了读者抗战救国的积极性,受到社会各界欢迎,成为中国知识分子的优秀代表。

Xie Liuyi,known as“one of the pioneers of Chinese journalism education”,was a modern writer and journalist in China.During the period of Anti-Japanese War,the critical period of the existence of the Chinese nation,he shouldered the task of saving the nation.With newspapers and periodicals,and vigorously carried out anti-Japanese and national salvation propaganda,to spread anti-Japanese and national salvation ideas,to root these ideas in people's mind and to mobilize people to join in the Anti-Japanese War and national salvation,which inspired,encouraged and activated readers to fight the war for the country.His deeds had been warmly welcomed by all sectors of society,thus made him an outstanding representative of Chinese intellectuals.
